Elite Serum won’t be on the shelves of popular beauty stores like Ulta and Sephora. SkinPro, the company behinds the Elite Serum state that the SkinPro products will be available only in medical facilities and by spas where medical professionals and estheticians work. Elite Serum contains Agireline, which has properties to fight wrinkles. This ingredient was apparently mentioned by Dr. Oz, who said that it could take the place of Botox. SkinPro called Agireline a “pharmaceutical grade” ingredient. Elite Serum can be found online, according to a press release released by SkinPro.
SkinPro stated in its release that while other companies can make products available through mass retailers, SkinPro prefers to make its products available through other venues to reduce the risk of consumers buying inappropriate products based on the recommendations of untrained store associates. If those associates are paid a commissions, the consumers are at further risks of being sold products that simply won’t work for their specific needs. SkinPro CTO said that because Elite Serum is so strong, it shouldn’t be sold in discount stores or in department stores with other beauty products of which some might not be as effective.
In addition to the Argireline, Elite Serum contains Snap-8, Haloxyl, Syn-Coll, Matrixyl3000, and Eyeliss. Banks stated that the product should be available in facilities where professionals can explain the product’s contents and how they can help specific skin concerns. SkinPro reported that the product will not be sold in China, because the country blocked the ability to import and register the product there. Although the Chinese representatives did not elaborate on why the product was blocked, others have stated that it was probably blocked because of the potency of the ingredients. They have suggested that the serum could not be classified as an over the counter product, so Elite Serum would probably need a prescription if it were to be sold in China. However, researchers spent four years developing Elite Serum in the hopes that this special product will make a big difference to the people who want to see significant results.
SkinPro is reporting that distributing the product through medical facilities and medical spas has been a successful distribution method for the products. The products have been said to alleviate crow’s feet, puffy eyes, wrinkles and dark circles for some patients. Dr. Mark Weis, a doctor in Kansas was quoted as saying that the Elite Serum is been effective for his patients.
